The assessment happened at home, where the real challenges actually show up. That made the recommendations genuinely useful.

NDIS ParticipantMurray Bridge, SA

Referral to first appointment was under two weeks, and the report landed inside the window we were promised.

Support CoordinatorAdelaide, SA

They started by asking what mattered to me, not what a form said should matter. Everything followed from that.

NDIS ParticipantMount Barker, SA

Clear clinical justification, properly evidenced. It made the funding request straightforward to submit.

Plan ManagerGawler, SA

Equipment was trialled properly before anything was ordered. No guesswork, and nothing wasted.

Family memberVictor Harbor, SA

Amendments were handled without fuss or extra billing. That is rarer than it should be.

Quick answers to questions you might have.

An older couple outdoors together
Do I need a referral to see an NDIS Occupational Therapist?

A GP or Doctor referral is not required to access Occupational Therapy under the NDIS. Participants can self-refer, or referrals may be made by support coordinators, plan managers, GPs, allied health professionals, or family members.

How long will I need to wait for an assessment?

90% of new referrals are seen within 2 weeks with the remaining referrals seen within 4 weeks.

Can Occupational Therapy help with NDIS funding requests?

Yes. Occupational Therapists play a key role in providing evidence to support NDIS funding requests. This includes Functional Capacity Assessments, Assistive Technology reports, risk assessments, and clinical justifications that clearly outline why specific supports are required.

Where will my assessment take place?

Our services can be delivered at the participant's home, workplace, or community environment, depending on individual needs and goals. Community-based assessments are often essential to accurately understand real-world functional challenges.

Are you an NDIS registered provider?

No. We deliver Occupational Therapy services to NDIS participants, including those who are self-managed or plan-managed. Services are provided by AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapists in line with professional and ethical standards.

What NDIS funding categories cover Occupational Therapy?

Occupational Therapy is typically funded under: Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living.
